I just sent a link of this vid to a friend who's looking to reorganize is tool storage after losing his sight over a year ago. (Yes, he has someone to help describe the visuals). That missing wrench indicator isn't going to help, but I'm wondering what ideas there might be for tactile indicators. After a long life centered around tools, he just won't give up.

Only thing I could see the adjustable length wrench being valuable for is maybe a bare minimum off road/road trip tool loadout, but that’s about it.

I have the old earthquake 1/2" impacts. The regular and stubby. The regular one hits harder than any of my coworkers truck brands. I dont have anything to compare the stubby to but im very happy with it. It spins stupid fast too. Oddly, i bought the 3/8" earthquake and returned it immediately. I dont know if i got a dud or what but my m12 impacts hit harder.

Harbor Freight's prices are in line with the big box stores now because the quality now meets or exceeds them. It's funny to me that guys bitched about HF being "junk" and today are bitching about them being the same price as the Big Box brands. It seems they can't win with these guys. An adjustable wrench used for a bolt like in the photo is pure blasphemy. LOL. I can understand why Electricians or HVAC guys use them since they're on the road and don't want to carry a ton of tools. I've only used them for fasteners larger than 1 1/4. LOL. That's where my wrench set ends and I don't feel like dropping $100+ dollars each for the next few sizes. 😂😂

I have the 4draw set that I keep in my office. we used it on 2 different moves over 15 years No issues words well we can lend tools to people and not be concerned if we loose a piece. We have the first set at our vacation home Great for simple repairs and supplement other HF tools. No problems. Good values.

I typed the 2023 Honda Ridgeline on how to run wire to the bed from the battery. WTH, how did Colorado come up? I'm trying to setup a DC to DC charging for my power station. Power stations are the best way to have portable power in your truck. You're not limited to small inverters for 120v. Power station can offer 240vac besides the 120vac.

Good stuff! I'd add Super Lube (which I saw on your shelf) as the best ratchet lube, and surgical spirit (rubbing alcohol) for degreasing and prepping surfaces for vinyl or stickers.

Yeti is really not about being the best cooler as many other cooler brands perform as good if not better. For many, it's about the logo, the high price and supposed prestige.

I have the work pro magnetic swivel spark plug set and they work great and I am a gearwrench user

The best thing about those spark plug sockets is the extension being permanently attached you don't have the chance of the socket popping off in a deep hole that is a bit tricky to get to

Instead of the thin wrenches i bought the channellock slim jaw spanner, i believe kein makes one as well. The channellock ones are really nice for 20-40 bucks, the klein are 35-50.

Treated myself and bought the VIM tools Magnetic Spark Plug set. They are amazing. Got them at Jersey Discount Tools which was cheaper than buying from VIM or Amazon.

If they had more sizes on hand today in 2024 I would've tried hard for a masterforce box since they are made by montezuma. If you've never used a montezuma latch system it's awesome. I have a 46" montezuma here on the farm but it's only like 18" deep. I have the drawers way overloaded and the still slide great. In 2024 the montezumas have gone up in price so now they're above the husky, us general crowd

You have omitted the most important question to be asked about ANY cross-point screwdriver from Vessel in Japan - and that is: Are the cross-point driving heads on the Megadora range JIS (Japan Industry standard) or Phillips..? It is absolutely ESSENTIAL that this is established, as those of us who are perhaps more familiar with the nuances in such different types will know two salient facts. 1) You can use a JIS #2 Crosspoint screwdriver in EITHER a Phillips #2 screw recess, or a JIS #2 Screw recess - and the driver tip will engage positively - and NOT "cam out" as torque is applied to the fastener. However - 2) You CANNOT use a Phillips #2 crosspoint driver in a JIS #2 fastener - without the very real probability that the fastener WILL be damaged when high er torque is applied to the fastener. This is because the Phillips system is DESIGNED to "Cam Out" when high torue is applied to a fastener, in order - supposedly - to protect surrounding structure from damage - if the driver should slip... Apparently, this ethos originated in the early days of metal aircraft skin manufacture, where puncture damage from slipping screwdrivers was a more common occurrence than it is today. In closing, as a (now retired) Licensed Aircraft Engineer for over 50 years, I have spent more than my fair share on Snap-On, Mac and all the other - better quality - brands of fixed and bit-type screwdrivers that you can imagine. In my view, the BEST driver bits are those made by Wiha in Germany - and Wera too - with the former having a Lifetime Guarantee - on their Hex Driver Bits..! that is impressive - and shows the exemplary quality of hand tools in general, that one may expect from German manufacturers. Look at Knipex, as another icon in pliers... Anyway, back to Wera/Wiha 1/4" hex drive screwdriver bits - whether they are Phillips or Posidriv in the cross-point arena. Some are formed with horizontally cut "Teeth" that grip the inside of a fastener head, some have diamond particles embedded into the surface of the driver bit, to do the same thing - and others are plain. ALL of the Phillips driver bits are designed to fit Phillips fasteners, thus the radius at the intersection of each "arm" of the cross will PROMOTE camming out and eventual slippage - despite any teeth or abrasive quality on the driver bit itself. Conversely, and in conclusion, the JIS system does NOT have this "rounding" radius in either its fasteners (identifiable - on most Japanese automotive fasteners - by a "dimple" between two of the adjacent "arms" of each Star or Cross recess in the fastener head) - thus the Vessel JIS Crosspoint screwdrivers are probably the BEST screwdrivers that you can buy today - with the one proviso, that you ONLY use a Posidriv driver tip on a Posidriv fastener..!
